WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC THERAPY?
Chiropractic is a method to relieve acute and chronic pain by correcting slight misalignments in your skeleton that cause pain, inhibit mobility and negatively impact your health.
Misalignments are caused by one or more of the 3 T’s: Trauma, Toxins, Thoughts. Trauma is a result of bodily impact — from a slip or fall, an auto injury, or something more dramatic. Toxins can come from poor diet, drug &/or alcohol abuse, even the air we breathe and water we drink. Thoughts refers to emotional stress, which makes us more prone to illness and interferes with the normal functions of our bodies.
Chiropractic therapy treat these misalignments with specific skeletal adjustments, combined with a program of stretching to allow greater range of motion and strengthening exercises to provide skeletal stability.
Here are some common conditions successfully treated by chiropractic adjustments:
- neck pain and tension
- back pain and stiffness
- headaches and migraines
- leg pain, weakness, numbness and tingling
- arm pain, weakness, numbness and tingling
- joint pain and dysfunction in the extremities
- disc injuries / problems
- sprain / strain injuries
